Tree Stories
Tree Stories is a series that turns paper back into trees in order to get to the heart of sustainability and the environment. It all started when the artist wondered: How do trees feel about climate change? This question is explored through themes such as fire, drought, floods, connections, and geologic time. These visual stories depict nature's light, wonder, and resiliency as a way to avoid ecological anguish.
Mixed media pieces are created with recycled paper and water-based paint, along with rocks, wood, leaves, and treasures from nature for a low carbon footprint.
